3 Days in Cairo | An Egypt Travel Photo Essay

A Trip to Egypt | A Photo + Film Story

Egypt has always been on the bucket list.

It still is.

3 days in Cairo was just a taste-test for a future family trip with all the kiddos and husband in tow. This trip? While sight-seeing was on the agenda, family time was more important. This coming summer will be spent in New Zealand and we won’t be going back “home” to Texas with our kiddos for them to visit cousins. (I’ll be working in the USA for Family Films, but the kids will stay behind in Saudi.) So allowing my daughter, London, to hang out with her best buddy and cousin, James, was high on my priority list.

We were in Cairo 3 days with my brother and his family and here are a few of my favorite moments. I look forward to returning and getting past Cairo into more of the true Egypt experience.

Until then, I loved these moments….

Saudi Arabia to Egypt. That view outside the Dammam Airport is pretty stark. They airport feels that way too.
